Things that might happen tomorrow, July 2, 2006
Tomorrow is the big day for boxing fans. It's Mano-A-Mano. There is 1 out of 4 things that might happen tomorrow. These are only my point of views:
1st: Manny will score a K.O. against Larios. The whole Araneta Coliseum will rumble and its sure hell that I will feel it here in my home like an earthquake of intense magnitude. After which, Gateway mall and other restaurants will be the beneficiary of a Pacman K.O. by serving delicious food and drinks and after that, we will all be fed with news and commercials again of Manny. Oh dear God please help me in enduring a 2-3 minute long commercial load of Manny Pacquiao.
[Don't get me wrong, I still route for the guy and I don't hate him.]
2nd: (and most dramatic thing that can happen tomorrow) Our own hero, The People's Champion, in the hands of a Mexican Champion will fall down right before the very eyes of every Filipino. There will be an awkward silence that can be heard throughout the country and tears will flow afterwards and then Gateway mall and other restaurant staff will again be the beneficiary of angry customers. So better serve delicious food or else.
3rd: NEWS HEADLINE: 3 BOXING JUDGES DEAD. The 3 officals were killed by 20,000+ angry Filipino Fans outside Araneta Coliseum. That is what will happen when Manny losses to a decision.
4th: Mexican fans will cry foul and ask for a rematch in Mexico. That is when Manny wins by decision tomorrow.
So who do we cheer for? of course Pacman but recently he seems pretty overconfident, relaxed and pretty much advertised and Larios might score an upset because of this. So let's just wait and watch... Mano-A-Mano!
