Superman Returns!

This time its for real! Superman Returns! Early in the morning I had a feeling that it would be the first time to watch in Globe Platinum Cinema in Gateway and to watch Superman Returns there would be really great. It was all planned out until we saw the line. Damn! Sold Out! Damn!!! so thank goodness there are a lot of cinemas showing Superman Returns. V and I ended up watching the 10p.m. one haha.

Well what can I say about the movie!? Two thumbs up! Brian Singer did a great job! what I really like about the movie was Kevin Spacey playing Lex. This was really awesome! He was the right man for the job! Actually, the story kinda veered away from the original one...but its okay it was still a great movie for me. Was it worth it watching in IMAX? sure! why not! but those of us who cannot watch it there will still enjoy it anyway. Kinda funny though, I haven't read the prelude yet (refer to my previous post for Superman Returns prelude downloadable comics) and now after watching the movie, I'll read the prelude and see if there's any connection whatsoever. Sidenote: X-Men fans will now know why Cyclops' character was instantly killed in the 3rd movie of X-Men (haven't watched X-Men yet!? Oooopps!!! Sorry for the spoiler). It's because she left Jean for Lois! hahahaha! and to top that, he was healed! hahaha! He should have optic blasted Lex....lol!
