The Fast and the Furious

I just watched The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift along with some other flicks like Scary Movie 4 and the first 20 mins of Whore. What impressed me in the third sequel of the fast and the furious was the type or cars they used. I particularly like the Red Evo...oh yeah!!! hehe...and the black Nissan 350z of D.K. whatta car!!! The movie was great but it really did not capture the essence of drifting (for me). First of all, drifting is a special skill acquired from amounts of practice with your car and days tuning it to your liking...they did that on a short amout of time in the movie...and drifting for me is an art...its not bump cars! thats why there are parallel drifts. Drift is won by sheer skill and not by sheer luck on who wins the bump cars. That's just me. I love Initial D and for me the "drifting" aspect of this movie just insults the true essence of it. Overall the movie was really a "dvd-type" movie (as my bro's gf calls it). Scary Movie 4? Funny! haha..."Oh my God! Wrong foot!" lol. Whore...wtf!? it stars Denise Richards by the way but what the hell!? what kind of a freakin' movie is this!? haha...lol.

Ronaldo silences his critics and me haha...just when I said that he was really out of shape and not really athletic enough to compete, he scores 2 goals! hahaha...nice one! I think Brazil is fit to win it again this year. Strong contenders so far are Germany and Spain. Ghana advances and the USA did not! hahaha...I'm happy for Ghana. There is one thing about this world cup that I realized, maybe soccer is the world's most favorite sport? I mean from all over the world, fans flock to the venue, students watch the game during their classes, people from all over the world celebrate when their team scores a goal. I mean, this is truly amazing. Makes me wonder thought...when will we ever qualify for the world cup? and when? hahaha
