FTW!!! THEY TOOK IT AWAY!!!

Datablitz took my Hellgate away! The item is on hold until the 31st (which is the true release date). Damn! I was so lucky yet not so lucky haha! Well...with all honesty I let them take it back for unselfish reasons. First of all, the saleslady there was very kind and nice to me so I really did not like to lie to her. She called and called my cellphone asking if it could be returned. She sounded very scared. It was then I thought of that they might be scolded by their boss and might cost their job. So what selfish reasons do I have not to return the game? none! It was not worth it. It is just a game and loosing her job aint really worth it. A Guy came to my house and returned my money along with the cost of transportation when I got the DVD Game. I had a chit chat with the guy and it was true, they were really scolded. Dumb boss/es! They gave the product to the stores and what else should they do about it than sell it!? Duh! they did not even leave any instructions! ohwell...gotta wait for wednesday I guess...haha...but hey...I'm a level 7 Marksman! :D

My orange box

It was when Windows Vista was first launched when I doubted it. I hated how it was so hardware demanding and how poorly it was made to run with other software's, games and utilities. Now after a few months of release and a mishap of my own, I am running Windows Vista Ultimate. Yeah! I am 120% liking it each and every way it was made. Updates ran smoothly, interface needs getting used to and the way it looks is pretty impressive. I must say, they did a good job. Now with Service Pack 1 and Direct X 10.1 on the horizon, its only going to improve. I left behind my Windows XP SP2 because of how crappy it ran my games! haha...yes, its all about gaming for me. Bioshock crashed everytime I load it, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was a lag-fest, the only thing decent enough game that it ran was G.R.A.W. 2 (and by the way, it was a good game although crappy thing about it is that it was too short. haha). So with games not playing correctly, I had no choice but to run them in Vista. To my surprise, it is very stable. Bioshock with dx10 ran smoothly...sweet!!! S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was not a lag-fest anymore...nice!!! and now, The Orange Box...

To me it is a bang for the buck game that's worth buying (and oh, I reserved my Hellgate: London already. Just gonna wait for Data Blitz's sms haha). 5 games in 1 Orange Box...that's a pretty good deal! Downloading it was crappy because it was too slow and there was still no crack available (or am I just not looking enough!? haha) to my surprise, the exact copy I was downloading required you to enter the serial before you can access the installation of the game/s you want to install. LOL! so it was a good thing that I bought it...now I am back to square one...Half Life 2. I haven't finished it back when it came out because of the pretty crappy burning of Sam (our friendly CD/DVD seller in U.M. I wonder where he is nowadays haha) that it had so much errors that I did not get the chance to finish the game. Now thank goodness it runs on Vista haha. Now I am having fun running and playing the game in full settings. Lag-free!!! and is very smooth...sweet!!! thanks to my videocard of course. Now, I am locked and loaded when the gates of hell are opened in London (2 more weeks to go!) :P

My lost bet

"My bet is on UE this year, sorry. BUT if we have the chance, I still believe we can fight with them till the end and then just maybe"

That's a direct quote from my previous entry. Well, who would have guessed!? We are back at #1!!! What a storybook comeback it is! It's not that I changed sides or anything, I still bleed green y'know. Really, hands down to the UE Red Warriors. They had a historic eliminations (and on a sour note, historic UAAP season as 1st ever 14-0 sweeper and a 0-2 loser. lol) and not to take away anything from them, they also won experience for next year's season. Did the final four comeback and haunted them again? I mean, final four was their bad luck. They could not win a series (just in recent times) and now they skipped the final four...don't they just wish they played in the final four? Let's face it. They lost their competitive edge, their hunger, their drive and their confidence. Once an unbeaten team faces a defeat, it is really hard to get that confidence back up. Take into account the timing of their first loss. 1st game of the Championships and at the back of their minds, its do or die the next game. Sometimes, you really got to loose in order to win :)

ANIMO LA SALLE!!!

Congratulations to the De La Salle Green Archers for winning the 70th Men's Senior's Basketball Championship! This one's for keeps! What a storybook comeback. Winning the pre-season tournaments, loosing Marco for the year due to injury, loosing Brian Ilad due to his on court antics, beating Ateneo just two out of three times in one season to advance to the finals and of course, defying the odds and winning two straight games against the unbeaten UE Red Warriors. Congratulations!

On the other side of things and as a part of the La Sallian community, I would like to thank the NU Bulldogs for Beating the Ateneo Blue Eagles in that very important game. Thank you also Ateneo Blue Eagles for the unforgettable five game series. To Cholo Villanueva, the one they salute when he joins their practices (haha!) for bringing your A game to both the clincher games. To JV Casio, you are our MVP. To Rico, for keeping your head in the game and making the ultimate sacrifice in playing with one foot, to rust for siding with the UE Red Warriors (lol), to experience the most important arsenal the team had, to TY Tang who is always the first Archer during practices...thank you for your leadership. We doubted you when you were a rookie, now as the team captain, everyone depended on you and you did not fail us...and to the De La Salle Green Archer's community...ANIMO!!! oh and also congrats to Manny! haha he should have picked Ara Mina instead of Kyla to sing. Why? because Ara Mina needs no practice and teaching to sing the national anthem...wahahaha!!!
