My office's house rules

It was this morning after the usual good morning conversation with our HR that she actually remembered that I haven't signed the "House Rules" document of the office. So after a few minutes, she returned with a document called "House Rules" in which rules in the office are stated reagarding absences, proper decorum and all the usual stuff. So I browsed through it and actually laughed because from my first day until today, I have probably broken half of the rules already! HAHAHA!!!

1. Jacket's hanging on the chair are unsightly. Store all jackets/sweaters in lockers after the shift. >>> It's hanging there...in my chair! hahaha

2. Allowable items on the desks are as follows: monitor, CPU's, keyboard, telephone, pencils/pens, office accessories and desk clocks. >>> I actually have a calendar, my wallet, earphones, stash of Milo, Lipton Tea, biscuits, ketchups, mug and teaspoon...LoL!

3. ID's should be worn at all times. >>> We do not have freakin' ID's! Yes! its weird!

4. Document's on the printer are private. >>> Paper's lying around the printer are my reading material when I am bored...just reading Call Center Agent's reports...haha.

5. Employee should keep the external speaker volume level at a minimum so as not to affect blah blah... >>> Yahoo! music all the way during my shift! even when I am 4 computers away from my desk I can still hear the music hehe...

6. Sleeping in the operations area while on duty is prohibited. >>> I sleep on my chair...I sleep on my desk...who cares!?

7. While the company provides styrofoam glasses, these are not allowed in the operations area. >>> It's my cup of water! I have it always in front of my keyboard! hehe...

8. Downloading from non-client approved websites is strictly prohibited. >>> Let's see...what have I downloaded...comics, mp3s, e-books, etc ahaha! T1 connection baby!

9. 3rd party chat programs are prohibited. >>> Windows messenger? Yahoo messenger/Meebo? ... Guilty as charged! haha

10. Viewing of non-work related websites is prohibited. Browsing is allowed during breaks. >>> I don't need a break to surf INQ7, Y! sports, ACM games, etc etc etc! haha

11. Adding non-work related peripherals such as USB drives, speakers, and others, unless approved by management, is prohibited. >>> Well, I have to have my own mp3's in my workstation...lol!

These are some of the rules I break everyday haha...will I change? will they make me change? we will see! haha...
