It's that time of the year again for NBA fans like me. Last year really sucked coz my Mavericks with the best damn record can't get past the Warriors! This year though, nothing is different. I don't think they can win it all this year. So sad but true. While I am one of those who want Celtics vs. Lakers finals, I'm still going with the teams I love :D
Celtics vs. Hawks:
Sorry Joe Cool, you can't carry the Hawks but I hope Josh Smith can be a revalation this post season so he can be a force to reckon with next year. My bet is on the Celts of course.
Celtics with the broomstick. 4-0.
Pistons vs. 76ers:
AI will play great and can have his fat money contract next year but the Pistons are one well oiled machine. 76ers can win their home games but that is it.
Pistons in 6.
Magic vs. Raptors:
Raptors can be a surprise team. Howard vs. Bosh. What a great matchup. If the Raptors bench can play well. They can call an upset. My bet is still with Superman.
Magic in 7 games.
Cavaliers vs. Wizards:
The best 1st round matchup in the East. They find themselves matched up again. Lebron vs. Gilbert. This could be an unpredictable series but sorry Lebron, even if you are my #1 pick in my fantasy league, Agent Zero's team is better this year.
Wizards in 7 games.
Now to the wild wild west...
Lakers vs. Nuggets:
Unless the Nuggets play defense, they won't be able to stop the mighty Lakers. Sorry A.I. you are not the answer that crazy Melo is looking for.
Lakers in 6 games.
Hornets vs. Mavericks:
Upset? there are no upsets in the west. It will be very interesting to see how CP3 (2nd runner up for MVP race) will react to the playoff defense he will get. The Mavs will have too much experience in game 7.
Mavs in 7 games.
Spurs vs. Suns:
Suns got Shaq to match up for Timmy and guess what? they got Timmy in the first round! Time to test the new toy in Shaq-tus. Suns got the Spurs number this year. Last year's finalists will bow out the first round this year.
Suns in 7 games.
Jazz vs. Rockets:
T-Mac got his wish by asking for the Jazz and now its time to prove that the T-Mac curse does not exist. With Rafer out for a week and Yao not playing, it will be one of those long nights for T-Mac. Jazz are better overall and they don't loose at home.
Jazz in 6 games.
There you have it folks! My bets are on those odds. I hope I win and I hope the Mavs can also win the championship this year but ugh...it's impossible. LOL!
