What Milenyo left us...

2 days of rain...a couple of hours of sheer strong winds...a country devastated...a problem reborn. One word "BILLBOARDS!!!!". Yes! take em down! take em down! They are too big! there are too many of them! it distracts drivers! it destroys properties when strong winds hit them. Now its up to our officials to do their thing and do something about these billboards and not be bribed by advertisers. We have all seen the damage now its up to us to act.

An amazing preview of a war over a week...

Haha I put every word of what I will blog about this week in the title. First up, Amazing Race 10 started! Go cheerleaders and the blond beauty queens! hahaha...of course I will cheer for the pretty girls haha! It's a weird team-ups. One team is a gay lovers team, there are of course cheerleaders and beauty queens, there is a druggie team, there is a muslim team, single moms, disabled couple and the rest. My prediction to win? the two chinese brothers hehe (I hope they are not the one's who will be eliminated). There is a weird thing going on that I noticed since the first few amazing races...that is about driving a car. Why do other teams have a hard time driving? is it the stick shift? some teams also do not know what kind of gas the car/SUV needs...I mean, wtf!? haha...ohwell...If I am a part of the amazing race, I would have broken down in some sorts in some part of the race also haha.

War? Marvel's Civil War of course. WTF is wrong with Marvel!? they were supposed to publish Civil War #4 a month ago! and Civil War #5 this month! instead they are releasing the 4th one only this sept 20. Yes fans! finally....THOR will have his wrath! here's a preview of things to come...

and the last keyword from the title is "week". I think It will be a good week! Prison Break S2 Ep 5 will be out. House S3 Ep 3 will also be out. Grey's Anatomy S3 opener is also in tap and lastly it will be my sister's birthday on Saturday! oh yeah!!! haha :D

Everything comes with a price

I got a new phone last friday. Hurray! well...it's not actually a "new" phone. It's second hand already but it is still in pretty good shape. It's a w810i walkman phone. Yeah! just what I wanted. New cellphone means that I am broke haha! true but not entirely broke per se. I can still go out if I wanted to.

Actually this day sucks. I hope it is not a sign of a bad week. When I woke up, the on-board LAN of my mobo is fried! It cannot detect anymore incoming internet traffic. I spent the whole day fixing it. Good thing I have a spare LAN card. Hurray again! and also TigerHome has a fresh install of WinXP...Hurray thrice!

Looking forward...

McDreamy or McVet? who did she choose!? I just finished my Grey's Anatomy marathon. Woot! its just in time for the 3rd Season which starts Sept 21 and will be available on torrent after 24hrs or less. So I am looking forward to the season opener and just like the season opener for Prison Break, I think all of us will be excited at this one. For the record...I still think Meredith is a whore haha...sorry to all who adore her...and to McDreamy...you are an ass! be a man! No spoilers please. I can't wait to watch the first episode of the 3rd Season. I hope Izzy is still there. Damn Danni! haha...

How would you spend the last day of your life?

It's an icebreaker for some...it's a question you ask a dying man/woman (it's also a question they think about)...it's a question you daydream about during boring classes...it may be a very serious question to some...so I ask you, how would you spend the last day of your life?

For some people, they want to spend it with their love one's. Others may have a list to do before they die and start doing the things on the list one by one (or what they can for that matter). Others who are alone, sad to say, just might spend their last day alone. Some might travel the world be happy and some people just might be sad. It's really a hard thing to think about, let alone thinking that you are going to die, but what really struck me is that some people really don't think about it. Well...we wouldn't really know if its our time to go right? but what if God made it a rule that he will give everyone a concrete sign that you will die on this certain date. I think that would be really scary. Thank you God for not doing that. But if you know when you will die (some people do), how would you spend the last day of your life?

If you ask me that question my answer is this...I would spend the whole day visiting every person that I know and during that time book a flight in some country that is one day behind us and cross that timeline before it hits the next day so that I can have an extended day alive. :D

Secrets...Secrets...and more Secrets...

Everybody has their own little secret. Don't deny it. There's always something deep down inside you that you keep a secret. Why do we keep secrets? To protect someone? to protect yourself? to protect the truth?. They say the truth shall set you free, so why are we still afraid to tell someone about this something we hold on to? We lie to protect it. We deceive people around us so as not to arouse any suspicion. We divert attention to hide it. A lot of effort is needed to keep a secret especially when the one you are keeping will affect a lot of people. So why do we really keep them? Do you keep a secret from your parents? Do you find yourself keeping something from your brother or your sister? Do you know a secret about your neighbor? Do you keep a secret from your boss that might affect your job? Do you keep secrets from your collagues because of competition? Are you hiding something from your wife/husband? A family secret? Whether or not you have one or deny having nothing, a secret is a secret. Can you really keep it? Hey, I know a little secret....I can't tell you because it's a secret :D. Tell me yours and I will tell you mine.

Other news: Schumi will retire after this season!!!! waaaa!!!! I just hope he wins the championship this season....damn Alonso! hahaha

Hey Ma, I'm going to Med school!

Nah! I'm not really going. I hate blood. Sad to say, I faint when I see a pool of blood haha! its true. It happened to me a long time ago and I really fainted. But lately, I have been watching medical shows. House season 3 just started this week and c'mon, we all need a dose of Dr. House every once in a while. House' character is really something. I'm not only learning medical mysteries from Dr. House, I am also learning about life, friendship,relationships and love from Scrubs. These crew is quite different from the seriousness of Dr. House' crew. J.D. and Turk are really really funny splash it with the humor of the ever pretty Dr. Elliot Reid and the sarcasm that you can't get enough of from Dr. Cox. Of course there are guest appearances of Tara Reid, Heather Graham and Mandy Moore. Who wouldn't love that!? haha. I finished the whole 5 seasons and there will be a 6th one. So right now, I am having appointments with Dr. Meredith Grey and after watching the first few episodes, I find it appealing. Is it just me or Ellen Pompeo really has a great smile?

I find these shows really amusing even if I am not a doctor. Maybe because I am intrigued by the mysteries of medicine or that maybe I can relate sometimes to what they are feeling or maybe I was a doctor in my past life? who knows!? haha. So if you guys are reading this, might wanna check these series out.

Let's fall in line...

Oh yeah! I'm baaack! after a month of thesis cramming, DotA reminiscing, being a driver/bodyguard to my cousins from Canada, and most especially being a cave man (yes! I do look like a cave man as you can see in the pic haha), I will finally get out of my chair and work my ass again starting next week. New term and new problems. Most evident of all is thesis related. How are we gonna handle this situation we are in. It's really really hard but I have a good feeling that this is finally it (I freakin' hope so!!!). Just wish us luck! and wish my friend Rigel also good luck because he is in a bit of a situation also. Let's all hope, pray and do our best.

And oh, Steve Irwin died. They say his death was videotaped. Anyone has this? It's kinda weird that he was killed by a stingray and not in the hands of a crocodile. R.I.P. Steve.
